Terrarium Kit — FAQ
Is live moss hard to care for?
No. Keep it in bright, indirect light, mist 2–3×/week (daily in very dry air), and vent closed jars for 10–15 minutes after misting.
What water should I use?
Use distilled or RO water to avoid mineral haze on glass and salt buildup in layers. Rainwater is fine if collected cleanly.
Will a closed terrarium grow mold?
Only if it stays soggy. Mist lightly, avoid pooling, and wipe excess condensation. Our care guide explains simple airflow rules.
How long does it take to build?
About 10–15 minutes for a basic kit. It’s a relaxing, beginner-friendly project for kids and adults.
Can I add plants or figurines?
Yes. Keep moss loose and avoid crowding. Add small stones, twigs, or mini figures for a scene — just keep surfaces moist, not soggy.
